Return & Refund Policy

We are committed to ensuring you are completely satisfied with your experience at Bobble & Clay. Please read this policy carefully before placing your order, as we specialize in personalized, handmade custom products.


1. The Core Principle: Nature of Custom Products

Every Bobble & Clay bobblehead is a one-of-a-kind piece handcrafted in our studio based on the photos and specific instructions you provide. It is not a stock item but a unique portrait created exclusively for you. As such, we cannot resell it.

Therefore, our policy is as follows: All completed custom orders are final sale and generally not eligible for return or exchange for reasons other than quality issues.


2. Situations We Accept Returns/Remakes (Our Responsibility)

We stand behind our craftsmanship and product quality. In the following scenarios that are our fault, we offer a free remake or a full refund:

Damaged During Shipping Free remake & reshipment, or a full refund. Contact us via email within 48 hours of delivery with clear photos/video showing the shipping box, internal packaging, and the damaged product.
Significant Deviation from Design Free remake or a full refund. Provide evidence comparing the approved design preview with the final received product, proving a major discrepancy.
Wrong Item Shipped (Non-custom) Free replacement with the correct item or a full refund. We cover return shipping. Keep the item unused and undamaged, and cooperate to return it.

3. Situations We Cannot Accept Returns (Understanding & Communication are Key)

To ensure fairness and sustain our small studio, we cannot offer returns or refunds for:

  • Dissatisfaction due to unclear photos, poor angles, or vague descriptions provided by the customer.

  • Change of mind after the customer has approved the design preview.

  • Subjective reasons like "I don't like it" or "It doesn't feel right" (in the absence of a major craftsmanship error).

  • Failed deliveries due to an incorrect shipping address, recipient unavailable, or customs issues caused by the customer.


4. Refund Process & Timing

  1. Request: Please submit your request via our Contact Us page with supporting evidence (photos, order number, etc.).

  2. Review: We will review your request and respond within 1-3 business days.

  3. Approval & Processing: Once approved, refunds will be issued to the original payment method. Processing typically takes 5-10 business days, depending on your card issuer or payment platform.


Important Notes

  • The Preview Approval is a Critical Step: We provide a design preview for your approval during production. This is your final opportunity for revisions. Your approval confirms the design direction for final production.

  • Customs & Import Duties: For international orders, any paid import duties or taxes are non-refundable by us. Please consult your local customs authority regarding their refund process.

  • Policy Updates: We reserve the right to update this policy at any time. The final interpretation of this policy belongs to Bobble & Clay.
